2017 Summer Season is Approaching

The Board of Governors have begun the activities necessary for a fun and successful beach season. The following are the scheduled dates for monthly and annual meetings. Property owners are welcome to attend monthly meeting and speak during the first agenda item “Citizen Speak”. The annual meeting includes reports from the board on key issues facing the association, the financial report and the budget for the coming fiscal year. Property owners of record at the Old Lyme Assessor’s office have the opportunity to vote on the budget, any new ordinances brought forward to the Board and new Board members.

 

2017 Board Meeting Schedule

The monthly Board meetings are held at the The Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library in Old Lyme, CT unless otherwise noted on the posted agenda. Please check the agenda for correct location. Meetings begin at 6:30PM, and POW residents are encouraged to attend. Agenda are posted on the website and bulletin boards at the beach no later than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting. The charter requires that minutes be posted in the same locations within 48 hours after the meeting (if minutes are not ready for posting, at a minimum the decisions at the meeting will be posted with full minutes following a few days later).

    Annual Meeting

This meeting is scheduled for 6:00 PM, Saturday June 3, 2017  at the Old Lyme Middle School auditorium on Lyme St in Old Lyme, CT. You will receive the Annual Call to the Meeting with the agenda, commissioners’ reports and proposed budget in the US Mail by  May 23, 2017. Please be certain that the POW Office Admin has your current mailing address. If you don’t receive it, promptly notify the office directly to get your copy. 860-434-5686.
