POINT-O-WOODS-ORDINANCES-2021
Violation Fine Increases 2019
One of the appeals to Point O’Woods is the sense of safety and security in the community. The Board of Governors is especially concerned about the safety and security of our homeowners, families, guests and their property.
New resident stickers with the centennial logo were distributed this year to distinguish them from parking stickers that have a red ‘P’ on them. This will help the security staff in identifying cars entering as having the right to enter Point O’Woods and keep the traffic moving. Please affix the sticker on the lower left of your windshield and you will be waved through after you stop at the stop sign.
There is a new security contractor this year and they have been instructed to ensure that all cars stop at the stop sign before proceeding.
For the safety of all, you must stop at the stop sign. Signs have been posted as you enter the tunnel advising that stopping ahead is required. Fines for certain violations have been increased to $100:
- Title IV, Chapter 2, Section 5 (operator failure to give name and show or surrender license)
- Title IV, Chapter 2, Section 8 (disobeying orders of an officer),
- Title IV, Chapter 2, Section 24 (failure to stop at a stop sign)
